Mark van Ommen has started as Business Development Manager for Warehousing & Distribution. He will be focusing on the Machinery Manufacturing market.
Mark has worked for Jan de Rijk Logistics for the past five years. In his first three years there, he was responsible for setting up and developing new warehouse & transport activities throughout Europe. In this role, he focused mainly on new transport and warehouse customers whose business did not overlap with air freight by road. He was also Key Account Manager for Hightech and Automotive customers, both for warehousing (two locations) and transport.
After the acquisition of De Rooy Logistics at the end of 2015, Mark contributed to the merging of all Automotive activities to form a new organisation named Jan de Rijk Automotive. Within this new organisation, he was commercially responsible for all activities (four multi-client warehouse locations including all possible forms of transport) and was part of the management team.
“After five informative and pleasant years, I came into contact with Broekman Logistics, where there’s also a fantastic challenge ahead of me in Warehousing & Distribution. I’m looking forward to using my knowledge and experience within this dynamic organisation!”
We would like to give Mark a warm welcome, and we wish him all the best!
