Rik Pek

Rik (1981) is a Dutch national and father of two sons, whom he can often be found supporting along the hockey field on weekends. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Business and Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

He started his career at Broekman Logistics in 2006 as a Management Trainee, quickly followed by several operational and commercial management positions. In 2011 he became General Manager of the breakbulk terminals, prior to his promotion to Managing Director of the Breakbulk and International Freight Forwarding divisions in 2015.

In March 2021, Rik became the fifth CEO of Broekman Logistics in its 65 years’ history, following the company’s long tradition to fill the top management position with a manager from its own ranks.
