An Interview with Tomas van der Maarel for Onze Haven magazine

He shares how he kicked off his career at Broekman Logistics and looks back on 2023 as the year in which he was appointed Jong Haventalent by the Jong Havenvereniging.

In his role, his primary mission was to interest young people in a job in the port of Rotterdam: “There is a great shortage of personnel throughout the entire port. Human capital is more than an English term. Without people, there is no port.”
