Jan is a Belgian-American national, is married and has three children. He enjoys spending his free time playing football, jogging and skiing. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Engineering, as well as a postgraduate degree in Finance from KU Leuven, Belgium.
He started his career in finance and treasury and subsequently took on increasingly senior leadership roles across Europe and the United States. His international career includes senior finance positions at Dow, Kuehne+Nagel, DB Schenker, FedEx Logistics and Maersk, gaining extensive experience across the logistics, transportation and industrial sectors.
Throughout his career, Jan has focused on transforming finance into a strong business partner, with expertise in corporate finance, treasury, working capital management, M&A integration, operational performance, and strategic planning.
